I am thrilled to offer childbirth classes and birth doula services to you if you live in or around the Madison area, Columbia or Sauk County, and beyond!

I prefer to teach group childbirth classes because I feel that a group setting allows everyone to learn from one another, and I can utilize additional learning activities in a group setting that make the classes more effective.  I also believe that there is great value in preparing for birth over the course of several weeks.  Like an athletic event, it takes time to prepare the body and mind for birth.

In some cases, your schedule might not allow you to attend my group Bradley Method classes, or maybe you’re already too late into your pregnancy to complete an entire series.  Private classes can provide a wonderful alternative or addition to simply settling for your hospital’s childbirth classes when you desire additional information.

Perhaps you’re considering taking my classes and also hiring me as your doula because you want to be as prepared as possible for your big day!  Or maybe you’ve got your classes taken care of already, but you’re looking for support to help all of your plans to fall into place.
